We are now accepting 2026 Mass intentions  for the entire year, January through December 2026.

Forms will be available at all churches, the St. Paul and  St. Conrad offices, and here on our website.  Online forms still need to be printed and mailed or dropped off at the St. Paul office with stipend accompanying the  form. 

Masses will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  

Confirmations will only be sent to those requests submitted on Mass intention request forms.    They will be sent out beginning in December 2025 for January and February 2026 Masses.  For Masses scheduled beyond  February 2026, confirmations will be sent out at least two (2) weeks prior to the scheduled Mass date.  

Please be sure to review and retain your written confirmation for future reference since the “requested by” is no longer published in the bulletin.  

Mass intentions will not be accepted by phone or email. 

We will do our best to fulfill your Mass intention request.  If we cannot do so, we will schedule the intention as close to the requested date and time as possible.

Mass Intention Guidelines for All Saints Parish
St. Andrew + St. Conrad + St. Michael the Archangel + St. Paul + St. Peter
 

1. We will accept requests for Mass intentions in the order in which the Mass Intention Request Forms are received for January-December 2026. The form (on the reverse side) may be dropped off at the Saint Paul Church office, the Saint Conrad Church office, placed in the weekly collection basket at any of our five (5) churches, or mailed to the Saint Paul Church office at 128 N. McKean St, Butler, PA 16001-4938. Forms are available on the parish website www.aIIsaintsbutIer.org, at the two (2) church offices, and all churches.
   
   

2. Due to the large number of Mass intention requests we receive, we will accept no more than two (2) intentions per parish household per year, one (1) weekend and one (1) weekday. If you request more than two (2) Masses, the additional Mass intentions may be sent to a seminary to be fulfilled.
   
   
3. A significant number of Mass intentions are requested following the death of a loved one. The immediate family may schedule a maximum of three (3) Mass intentions for the deceased. Additional Masses requested for the deceased will be scheduled during the year if possible (this depends on the number of requests received). Non-family members of the deceased may schedule one (1) Mass intention. Additional Masses requested from non-family members may be sent to a seminary to be fulfilled.
   
   
4. Mass conf/rmafions will on/y be sent to ffiose regz/esfs submitted on a Mass Intention Reqz/esf Form. Please indicate on the reverse side of this form if you w’oz//c/ //ke a confirmation. If reauested, confirmations will be sent at least two (2) weeks arior to scheduled Mass date.
   
   
5. After one year, unscheduled Mass intentions will be sent to a seminary to be fulfilled. Canon Law does not permit Mass intentions to be kept beyond what can be scheduled in a year's time. Once a Mass date is scheduled, it cannot be chanqed.
   
   
6. A $10 stipend, as determined by Diocesan policy, is to accompany each Mass request. No one will be denied a Mass intention because of inability to pay. Simply note on the form if this is the case.
   
   
7. Mass intentions will not be scheduled for Holy Thursday (Mass of the Lord's Supper), Good Friday, Easter Vigil, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, and the Sunday 10 am Mass at Saint Paul Church (see #8 below). These Masses will be celebrated for the general intentions of our parish.
   
   
8. As required by Canon Law, the parish must schedule one (1) Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation for the intentions of our living and deceased parishioners. The “Pro Populo” (for the people) Mass designated for All Saints Parish is the Sunday 10 AM Mass at Saint Paul Church.
   
   
9. We will do our best to fulfill your Mass intention request. If we cannot do so, we will schedule the Mass as close to the requested date, time, and location as possible. PLEASE print your contact information clearly!
   
   
10. Lengthy intentions cannot be published in the bulletin and may be edited for the sake of brevity.
