A number of resources have been prepared to assist you in planning your wedding by presenting as clearly as possible the wedding policies and procedures observed at All Saints Parish.
Due to a policy of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, no weddings can be celebrated on Sundays and no exceptions can be made.
Fall dates for PreCana are November 14, 2026, and November 21, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Church - 432 Center Ave., Butler - beginning at 9:30am.
To receive the Sacrament of Marriage in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, every engaged couple is required, by Canon Law, to participate in an approved marriage preparation program. The Marriage Preparation Retreat -- also known as PreCana -- consists of two Saturday sessions that run from 9:30am to 5pm at St. Michael the Archangel Parish Hall at 432 Center Ave., Butler, PA 16001.
Couples must attend both Saturday sessions to fulfill the program requirements. Both Saturday sessions conclude with Holy Mass at 4pm at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Mass attendance is part of the preparation retreat and satisfies the Sunday obligation.
Cost: $50/couple. Lunch is provided or couples can pack their own lunch. Please let us know of any dietary needs.
Retreat size is limited to 20 couples. Register early - retreat fills quickly.
