Our Grief ministry - a free 10-week educational program for those mourning the loss of a loved one - will begin on Tuesday, September 8, from 6 to 7:30pm at St. Andrew Social Hall - 1660 N. Main St., Ext., Butler.
With a newly added educational component, this compassionate and supportive ministry, which includes GriefShare, is aimed at assisting you in your grief with Christ-centered discussions.
Each night, participants will learn about coping skills and a pathway to healing, with an option for sharing. Group members will have the opportunity to process and work through their grief, while forming strong bonds with other walking through the same journey.
You may be feeling anger, isolation, loneliness, depression, sadness, or emptiness and not know why. Did you know that grief can last long after a death, even for years? If you haven’t addressed that grief, these emotions can surface affecting your life and those around you.
You do not have to navigate grief alone. This group is where faith meets compassion, in as welcoming space.
